Weed Wrangle at The Land Trust for Tennessee
March 2 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am CST
Join us as we partner with Weed Wrangle® and The Garden Club of Nashville to remove non-native species at The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm! This opportunity allows you to learn more about our 64-acre farm, which is not regularly open to the public.
Glen Leven Farm is not regularly open to the public. The gate will generally be held open for volunteer and public events. If it is closed, please use the call button on the gate box.
Volunteers will meet on the porch to sign waivers and get started.
- Volunteers will use uprooters, loppers, & shovels to remove bush honeysuckle (Lonicera maackii)
- from our landscape so native species can thrive.
- We will have water (bring your own bottle if you can!) and work gloves on hand.
- We do recommend you dress in layers for the weather and wear closed toe shoes and long pants.
