Savanna RoaldsandAmeriCorps Member, Conservation Volunteer Program Leader

Savanna Roaldsand serves The Land Trust for Tennessee as an AmeriCorps Service Member with Hands On Nashville. She coordinates conservation, education, and event volunteer opportunities to support The Land Trust’s mission.

Savanna, a Nashville native, received her B.A. in Sustainability from Sewanee: The University of the South. She previously lived in Asheville, NC,  where she worked in the non-profit conference and event space. In her current AmeriCorps role, she hopes to both grow and share her skills while serving communities in and around Nashville in a meaningful way.

In her free time, Savanna loves walking Nashville’s vast greenways systems (particularly around the Harpeth River and Shelby Bottoms), tending to her garden, and relaxing with friends over tea.

I am privileged to serve in a place that inspires people to act as good stewards of our strikingly beautiful and vastly important Tennessee landscapes.
