DESCRIPTION:This month\, come learn about bees and local honey at The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm! We’ll be joined by Gary Saakian from Green Hills Gold\, our resident beekeeper. He will do a honey harvest\, have an observation hive\, and teach us how he raises bees and collects honey. We will also be giving away our recently harvested Glen Leven Farm honey while supplies last! \nDuring your visit\, explore the scenic property\, hike our 1.4-mile Nature Trail\, and take in the beauty of open fields\, forests\, and Brown’s Creek. Also\, be sure to stop by and say hello to our friendly miniature donkeys\, Figaro and Chaplin!
