    • Discover how to make your farm or the farms in your community a lasting legacy at the upcoming Tennessee Farmland Legacy Conference on October 9th and 10th at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, TN. Farmers, landowners and community leaders will have the opportunity to learn about protecting and growing today’s farms for tomorrow’s families and communities.
    • This conference will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders for presentations on farm estate planning, property taxes and conservation easements for landowners and planning techniques that protect farmland while not hindering economic growth for community leaders. Presenters will explain how communities and farmers can both benefit from working together.
    • Who: All farmers, landowners, local officials, land trusts, citizens, agency personnel, and others interested in protecting and growing Tennessee’s farms.
    • What: Farmers, landowners, and community leaders will have the opportunity to learn what they can do to plan for the future of Tennessee agriculture.
