CONTACT US Today there are 1,700 land trusts that have more than 100,000 volunteers and 2 million members. So far, land trusts have conserved 37 million acres of land in America – an area roughly the size of all the New England states. These acres protect open space, farms, woodlands, scenic corridors, vistas and historic places. We must now focus our attention here. The Land Trust for Tennessee is working with communities and individuals to identify our natural and historic assets and to protect these important lands and sites before they disappear forever.
